    Met with donor restaurant owner and  cafe staff to finalize breakfast menu and pickup details.

    Organized tool box.  Packed up tools and spare parts.  Made transportation plans.

    Gave staff pit pass graphics and text for plastic ID donor's gifts

    Today we are building the shipping crate, wiring up the components to the motherboard, testing the programming,     and testing the control system.  Completed the shooting mechanism.

    Today we designed and built the shooting mechanism, attached the third level, and built the control platform.

    Arranged FedEx shipping time Tuesday the 17th from 12-2pm.  Began t-shirt fundraiser.  Completed the
    second-to-third floor pulley system.

2-7-09  (13 hours)
    Worked on
assembly of the second-to-third floor pulley system.  Reworked the transmission.

2-5-09  (3.5 hours)
    Built a springed platform for a conveyor system.  Changed from reclined to upright position.
    
Began assembly of the second-to-third floor pulley system.

2-2-09  (1 hour)
    Contacted Don Plugges Upholstery at 1209 W Main 236-3505 for donation of upholstery material and took
    material to Blair Upholstery.

1-31-09  (12 hours)
    Redesigned the conveyor belt utilizing pool noodles and assembled the second floor.

1-24-09  (7 hours)
    Attached all-thread to create platform for second floor, drilled holes in the second floor platform for attachment,
    designed and built the first-to-second floor conveyor belt.  Passed out robotics shirts.  Affixed the wheels and
    attached the v-belts to the pulleys.


1-23-09 (1.5 hours)
    Picked up shirts from Skis Tees at 1014 NW 1st.  Contacted Virgil Blair Upholstery at 1732 NW 16th about
    a donation of repairing a bus seat.  David Johnson's parents own a daycare and will provide free
    transportation to the competition in exchange for repairing their bus seat.

Assembled wheels, synthetic v-belts, remainder of transmission.  Drilled v-belt pulley for tri-wheel assembly.

    Assembled battery box, split the motherboard into two levels.  Autozone donated 4 v-belt pulleys.

     Contacted Harold Graham from Jackson Middle School to be our shop supervisor/mentor.   

1-12-09  (30 mins)
    Spoke with Mark at Skis Tees who approved donation of robotics shirts.  Gave him the design and shirt sizes.

1-10-09  (13 hours)
    Built the chassis and the transmission.  Decided on three tires per corner with circuit board in the middle.

1-9-09  (3 hours)
    Finalized transmission and chassis design.  Unpacked and inventoried parts.

1-7-09  (3.5 hours)
    Pow-Wow discussed transmission design.  Brainstomed 10 to 12 ideas for transmission design.  Decided on  
    three possible design types (#1 Forklift, #2 All-Wheel,  and #3 Tank Traction).  We chose Tank Traction.

1-3-09  (11 hours)
    Attended US First Robotics Kickoff at OSU in Stillwater.  Picked up robot kit of parts.
